I had a dream the other night in which I came up with the best sentence ever. This was the sentence to end all sentences, probably the finest sentence ever to be formed in the English language, and I was terribly excited when I woke up and remembered it. I thought, “I must write this sentence down, for it has captured everything I’ve ever wanted to say…all in a relatively economical 10 to 12 words!”
But first, I had to go to the bathroom, so I did that, and then I sat down on the bed and realized I’d forgotten the magical sentence. Poof. Just like that, it was gone. I still have all the feelings associated with the sentence — joy, pride, excitement — but I don’t have the words anymore.
This is probably a good thing. After all, if the sentence captured everything I’ve ever wanted to say, and I remembered it, what would I say next?

A conundrum. I think it would have been OK to write it, then you would have to think about a more perfecter sentance. Happy Thanksgiving
True! Happy Thanksgiving to you, MH, and everyone else out there…
