Things definitely feel warp-speedy today. I learned that I can balance my coffee mug on a stack of clothes and make it up one flight of stairs without incident…

I do like that quote. I did not feel alive, growth-filled, or passionate in my cubicle and it was best to remove myself from that situation — for me, the replacement who would give more than 10% of their energy to that role (and like it!), and everyone else around me.

I thought the day counter had taken a strange leap. Here is a quote from a rather overworked trapeze analogy I found in my folder of miscellaneous clippings: (The Essene Book of Days for 1988, Danaan Parry):
